Starting into its third decade, New Jersey based thrash metal legend Overkill is currently in the studio finishing up its 16th studio album, The Electric Age. The band is set to release this crushing monstrosity on March 27th through eOne Music (March 30th, in Europe through Nuclear Blast).
The Electric Age is the follow-up to the much heralded 2010 release Ironbound, which landed at number 18 on Metalholic’s Best Metal Albums of 2010 list.
Overkill have revealed a behind the scenes video that outlines the recording process they used for their upcoming new record The Electric Age.
Recorded at GEAR Studios, owned and operated by bassist D.D. Verni, the video outlines specific gear and techniques used and how it had shaped the bands raw unfiltered sound over the last few releases.
